Take control and target acne

Depending upon the severity of your acne, our recommendation for successful treatment includes the SkinMedica® Acne System comprised of a gentle yet effective fast-acting foaming wash for the face, neck, chest, and back, a balancing purifying toner, and a theraputic treatment lotion. Acne Facial
For the special needs of acneic skin using our medical-grade products, this facial will treat and care for breakouts, oiliness, and sensitivity.  A purifying mask or clarifying mask will be applied to help purge the skin of debris as well as time devoted to extractions.  Allow our Esthetician to educate you about how to care for your unique skin concerns during this specialized treatment. A maintenance program and makeup consultation for acneic skin will be recommended at this time.  A light massage of the shoulders, arms and hands is included (60 minutes).

Laser for Active Acne
The Nd: YAG laser can treat active acne by penetrating the skin at a deep level, providing an antiseptic quality that no product can match. One treatment is often enough and the results are long lasting.

Laser for Acne Scarring
Our erbuim laser can dramatically and significantly minimize the appearance of acne scarring, including the deep “pock” or “ice pick” marks. Using our precision laser, the top layers of skin are removed, leaving smoother, tighter skin on the surface after a period of healing.

Rosacea Treatment

Treatment for Rosacea is often ineffective. The constant redness, worsened by multiple factors such as hot drinks, exercise, alcohol, wind or sun, increases the potential to develop overgrowth or thickening of the skin on the nose and cheeks (also called rhinophyma). The exact cause of this frustrating condition is unknown and is often treated with antibiotics and avoidance of aggravating factors. Often, such measures are not enough and many times don't heal the already damaged skin. 

Our approach, here at Refined Skin Medi-Spa, is to start with a consultation during which we analyze your skin using our Visia Complexion Analysis to identify the problem areas and determine the extent of the condition.
